Kimball School Renovation Project

Repair and renovation is in full swing.  It began with the removal of the walls, floor and underlying soils in the Den locker rooms, multi-purpose room and band room.  On the inside now in that same area there is a new floor over new soils/fill.  New block walls and door frames are shaping up on the inside.   The excavation of the dirt work on the east side has been completed, soil replacement and compaction is taking place along with the pouring of concrete for the footings of the foundation walls.  The new area to the east of the current building will house two classrooms and the music department with space for the band room, vocal room, offices, and storage.  Also there will be a coaches/training room area.     New lighting has been placed in the Kanyon and Den.  Final completion date is August 2013.
