Mr. Marcus Tracy spent a full week learning about Kimball and working with 7th-12th grade students to create this beautiful mural that will be placed on the exterior of "yet to be determined" building!

Objective: To collaborate with Kimball Public School students, teachers, school administrators, and the community in organizing a Kimball JH/HS Mural Project.
Goals: Create a visual interpretation of shared ideas and experiences through drawing, photography, digital/printed material, spoken word and painting.  These shared ideas and experiences will be about the celebration of Kimball’s history and culture; school and civic pride; diversity and inclusion; environmental preservation and conservation.
Ideas and experiences will be compositionally arranged as a 1" to 1' grid in referencing a model size to life size of the Kimball JH/HS Mural. After the Kimball JH/HS Mural Project has been approved, students will take part in priming plywood; outlining a grid system before painting; draw out design; then paint.
Expected Results: The Kimball JH/HS Mural Project will bridge a common ground based on social and community understanding. This common ground empowers students, teachers, and community members to build bridges of cultural and social understanding; learned past histories; school and civic pride; environmental preservation and conservation.
