Last fall Kimball and White Lake students in grades 1st -6th were given the opportunity to join the Kat Pack. Students are grouped into 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th and each group has an hour long practice once a week where they are taught the fundamentals of basketball. They then show off their skills in front of home basketball crowds at the high school games during half-time. They also have a chance to have their name drawn to be with the HS team during player announcements. Will Gottlob is their coach and parents assist.
3rd and 4th graders also have a parent organized basketball program! They practice together and will be scrimmaging against other towns. These games are on the school calendar and have a $1 admission.
Your support for these programs is greatly appreciated. To offset some expenses, they currently have a Sock Fundraiser. Socks can be purchased for $20 in the main office. More information is below.
