Kimball School has utilized the Student and Parent Portal apps for several years now. This allows students and parents to access items like assignments, grades, attendance, student schedules and report cards.
Another feature is Notifications. You can choose thru your phone's settings to receive notifications and they are customizable thru the app. If you click/tap on the person icon in the top right corner, a menu appears and you choose "Settings". Within Settings, you choose "Notification Settings". In here you can customize what notifications you want to receive!
An important notification, especially this time of year with winter road conditions, is the Attendance Notification. Once a teacher marks your child Absent, you can receive a notification to let you know. It could also be a good reminder to call the office to let them know your child will not be in school that day and we can then update it. Per Handbook Policy, it is the parent's responsibility to notify the school if your child will be absent.
