This week the elementary have been celebrating "Read Across America Week". Each day there have been dress up days and today was Wacky Wednesday and there were definitely some wacky outfits!! They also all played bingo together for a group activity. To finish up the week, tomorrow is is College/Career Day and Friday is Mad Scientist Day which will include some fun science presentations!

25 students from Kimball School in grades 4-6 are part of the SD Music Educators Association Music Festival today in Mitchell. And Kimball's Mrs. Rebecca Rasmussen is the Guest Conductor! They are spending the day practicing with students from other area schools and will perform a concert at 4pm today at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center. The following school board positions will become vacant due to the expiration of the present terms of office for the following school board members:

Hillary Leiferman, 2 year term
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on March 1, 2024 and petitions may be filed in the office of the Business Manager located at the Kimball School Business Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. central time not later than March 26, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., or mailed by registered mail not later than March 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.

We are excited to announce the arrival of the "little red truck" March 18-23! Missoula Children's Theatre will work with students in grades K-12 that participate all week and perform Jack and the Beanstalk on Saturday, March 23 with 2 performances.
