Seven KHS seniors have been recognized by LifeServe Blood Center as Donors of Distinction - Back row: Johnny Lenz, Cadence Konechne, Michael Brennan, Sienna Gillen. Front Row: Harlie Fuegen, Charlee Bass, Autumn Baker.
LifeServe Blood Center honors high school students who demonstrate a commitment to saving lives! To become a Donor of Distinction the student must register to donate blood three times before graduation. For those not eligible to donate, red cord honors are available to students who host a scholarship blood drive or ask three people to give blood in place of them.
Donors of Distinction receive the following: special honor cords to wear at graduation, a Certificate of Achievement and a Letter of Accomplishment from LifeServe Blood Center President. Congrats, Senior Donors of Distinction!
Charlee Bass was awarded the LifeServe Scholarship for $500. Because of the success of the 2 blood drives this past year this money was made available to one of the students that helped make it a success.
