Kimball FFA had a great CDE Season. What does CDE mean? Career Development Events - the spring FFA contests. Over 70 of our members competed in 14 different contest areas. The contests include general knowledge tests, problem solving, identification, hands on, and judging. The contest areas include Ag Business, Agronomy, Ag Mechanics, Dairy Evaluation, Floriculture, Food Science, Horse Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, Meats Evaluation, Milk Quality Products, Natural Resources, Nursery Landscape, Poultry Evaluation, Vet Science. Students competed at contests in Redfield, Bridgewater/Emery, Howard, Scotland, Canton,
Tri -Valley, and our District IV qualifier in Parkston. To qualify for State FFA Convention - the teams had to be in the top 4 teams (except for Food Science and Poultry (Top 3) or the next 5 individuals. Kimball FFA Qualified 5 teams and 12 individuals. Congratulate all of these FFA members for a great season and wish the best of luck to the State Qualifers.
