Parents, let FCCLA members entertain your children (PK-age 12) while you take care of your Christmas shopping. The workshop is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m on Saturday, Dec. 13. Drop off/registration will be inside the main doors. There is no charge for the event, but there will be DIY gift options for the kids to purchase and make for loved ones. Items are priced at $1, $2, $3, and $5 each. Mac & Cheese and Chicken Nuggets will be served for lunch. Games, activities, and movies will be held throughout the day. FCCLA members will also host a gift-wrapping station in the FACS room. Bring your purchases in for wrapping before picking up the kids. This service is provided on a free will donation basis.
Kimball School is in search of a beef to be donated and delivered to the locker on Dec. 30, 2025. Perfect timing if you're planning for year-end tax deduction.

The following students represented Kimball School in the Region 5 Music Festival in Platte on Tues 11/18/25. They rehearsed and presented a concert under the direction of Kim Bruguier, the K-5 music teacher from LB Williams Elementary in Mitchell. Freshmen from KHS choir sang with about 100 singers from across the state in Mitchell on Monday, Nov 10. The group presented a concert at the end of the day for family and friends. You are invited to gather and cut loose with our Artist in Residence, Marcia! She will share her trading card collection and you will be able to make one or two yourself! A chance to get creative without any pressure of making it "perfect" art. You can then trade with her, your friends or take it home to enjoy. Kimball School was well-represented at the All-State Chorus and Elementary Honor Choir performances this past Saturday. Delilah Rasmussen, Samantha Pringle, Harley Piskule and Allison Geppert performed Saturday night. Elementary Honor Choir was held Saturday afternoon with Addyson Dorwart, Vonni Tyrrell, Emma Lenz, Tyson Von Eye, Maya De Jong, Paisley Kirsch and Allie Krier performing. Special recognition was made to 3-year members: Addyson Dorwart, Vonni Tyrrell and Paisley Kirsch.
